Max Läubli 1932 - 2018

Guided tours

Come and visit the world of Max Läubli in Claro.

The garden and the old studio with murals

Max Läubli was an artist, painter and sculptor who moved from Basel to Ticino in 1952, where he lived in Claro, a village north of Bellinzona, until his death in 2018.

His widow Madeleine is happy to receive and guide you through this picturesque place with two studios, a stone house more than 300 years old and an enchanting, wild garden full of sculptures and hidden corners.

This magical place has kept its atmosphere and charm, as if the artist still lived and worked here. You will never forget your visit to this wonderful and extraordinary world.
