Madeleine Läubli-Steinauer
MAD
MAD was born and grew up in Fribourg. She has lived in Ticino, the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland, since 1964, when she married Max Läubli. For more than 30 years she has worked intensely to develop her personal technique: handmade compositions created by appliquéing and sewing together pieces of cloth of every kind and colour.
For many years she has concentrated on the inexhaustible subject of angels.
