Max Läubli (1932-2018), artist, painter and sculptor, moved from Basel to Ticino in 1952 and lived in Claro, a village north of Bellinzona, until his death.
His extensive work includes mostly oil paintings and drawings, but also murals, stained-glass windows, objects and sculptures in different materials. A number of pieces are owned by public institutions.

Madeleine Läubli is happy to guide you through the two studios, the stone house built in the 1700s and the enchanted garden full of sculptures. A place that has kept its atmosphere, as if Max still lived and worked here.
